“Losers”: why Putin does not show the dictators that Melania Golembyovskaya has taken in

Vladimir Putin has never appeared in public with the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, who fled to Moscow. This has previously concerned both Viktor Yanukovych and Viktor Medvedchuk. The Russian dictator does not want to have anything to do with anyone the Kremlin has granted asylum to.

They were important to Putin before, when they were in power, but not now. Political scientist Igor Reiterovich expressed this opinion to Channel 24, noting that the overthrow of the Assad regime in Syria became a “knife in the heart” of Putin, but at the same time quite “profitable” due to the stolen money of the Syrian dictator.

Why Putin does not show the dictators he has warmed up

The political scientist noted that when dictators or politicians were in power, that is, “on top”, Putin calmly hugged them. The Russian dictator even recorded a video with Assad.

Now they are “losers”, they became so with the support of Russia. This is the history of Putin's personal failures, – Reiterovich emphasized.

The aggressor country, according to the political scientist, invested a lot of effort, money, equipment and people in Syria. Now the dictatorial regime there has fallen, which has become a strong blow to the Kremlin's image.

Interesting! Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman commented that Assad will pay Russia billions of dollars for asylum. At one time, this was done by former President of Kyrgyzstan Askar Akayev, former President of Angola Jose Eduardo dos Santos, former President of Mongolia Yumjagiin Tsedenbal, who fled to Russia after the overthrow of their regime.

That is why Russia did not comment on Assad's presence in Moscow and will not do so in the future, because it is not profitable for it.

Putin will pretend that we have this person somewhere, but do not associate him with us. Why? Assad stole a lot of money in Syria, some of which Russia will put in its pocket, and then say that it knows nothing, he explained.

It is interesting that the head of the charity fund “Sided Rus'” Olga Romanova said that the Syrian dictator is not worth a penny to the Kremlin now.

Recently there were even rumors about Assad being poisoned in Moscow with “Novichok”, because he knows many secrets about chemical weapons, which is dangerous for Putin. If the Kremlin failed to do this, it will probably try again.
