British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will continue to work on exploring options for using frozen assets of the Russian Federation.
This became known from the published joint statement of the leaders following their negotiations in Germany.
— We are committed to working together as a “Group of Seven” (…) to explore options in which frozen Russian sovereign assets could be used to support Ukraine in accordance with our legal systems and international law, — stated in a statement published on the Downing Street website.
In addition, politicians noted that they would seek to “apply significant pressure to reduce Russia's income from energy resources and other areas, as well as strengthen sanctions and combat sanctions circumvention”.

Cooperation between Germany and Britain in the field of “green energy”
Great Britain and Germany as part of a partnership in the field of “green energy” also agreed to cooperate on the production of renewable energy in the North Sea.
