The manager of former world champion in three divisions Vasily Lomachenko Egis Klimas said that the boxer with Ukrainian citizenship will hold his next fight in February.
Klimas said this in a commentary to ESNEWS in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), where the World Boxing Council Congress started.
When asked whether Lomachenko will next fight against Australian George Kambosos, he said that “the title is not available yet.”

At the same time, he answered affirmatively that Vasily will hold his next fight in February 2024.
“The announcement should take place in the coming days,” Klimas said.
In October, Top Rank head Bob Arum suggested that Lomachenko could fight Kambosos in February. According to the promoter, the Ukrainian was offered to fight in December 2023, but he asked for a vacation.
At the same time, Arum said that if the fight takes place and Lomachenko wins it, then perhaps the next opponents will be the top of his weight category and Vasily will be able to return the belts.
