Russian goods through its territory to Kaliningrad. This can serve as an example for many other European countries.

This opinion was expressed by political scientist Nikolai Davydyuk on Channel 24. According to him, Lithuania is consistently implementing the promised bans on the transportation of Russian goods through its territory.

This country is aware of the danger from Russia and “beats the enemy with whatever it can”.

I think that Lithuania can be called the country that made Kaliningrad an “island”, stressed the political scientist.

On July 11, Lithuania expanded restrictions on transit through its territory from Russia to Russian Kaliningrad, including a ban on concrete, wood, alcohol and alcohol-based industrial chemicals.

“Depression levels will skyrocket”

According to Davidyuk, due to the restrictions imposed, Russians in Kaliningrad will not know what to do.

“Imagine how Russians will cry there without alcohol? It seems to me that the number of depressions and suicides there will go off scale already in a week,” he said.

“Our brothers in spirit”

The political scientist believes that Lithuania can be called perhaps the most courageous European Union country.

Having such a small territory, the Lithuanians are taking such powerful political and diplomatic steps. It takes incredible courage! These are definitely our brothers,” he stressed.

The political scientist connects such decisive steps with the fact that a generation of courageous politicians is now in power in Lithuania. The Lithuanians are doing everything to weaken Russia and bring a common victory closer.

In some countries, according to Davidyuk, they thought that they would verbally support sanctions against Russia, but they would do nothing. Lithuania, thanks to its determination, should serve as an example for them.

“These are not only the Baltic countries. It is necessary that Poland, the entire eastern and western blocs be included. This is a matter that needs to be brought to an end,” the political scientist noted.

Sanctions will affect Russia

Kazakhstan should have also imposed restrictions on the transit of Russian goods. Then, according to Davidyuk, Russia from all sides will be “locked by sub-sanction bans” and will not be able to import or export goods.

Russia will be a stupid economic entity that will not be able to conduct economic activity and will be forced to catapult its economy down. This is the path that awaits them for sure,” the political scientist emphasized.

He added that there is no reason to fear any threats from Moscow. After all, if the Kremlin makes concessions, it's like negotiating with Hitler.

“This is the psychology of a bear. It needs to be put in a cage. Only such a language is understood by Russia and the Russian people sick with propaganda,” Davidyuk said.

He expressed the hope that the decline in the economy and living standards could bring Russians to consciousness .

Kaliningrad blockade : the main thing

  • Lithuania has restricted the transit of various Russian goods to Kaliningrad for Russia. In response, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the Kremlin had “finished preparing its response to the blockade of Kaliningrad.” Like, if the goods do not start to pass, then Russia “will introduce harsh measures against Lithuania and the EU”
  • Political analysts believe that the Kremlin wants to strike at Lithuania. However, the Russians do not have enough resources for this.
  • Anton Motolko, the founder of the Belarusian Gayun telegram channel, noted that in the coming days one can expect another ugly steps towards Lithuania and from Lukashenko, Putin's henchman.
