The Lychakivskyi court in Lviv summoned to a hearing on December 27 ex-deputy Ilya Kiva, who was liquidated in the Russian Federation as a result of a special operation by the SBU.
The summons to appear in court, which was created on December 13, 2023, was published on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office.

What Kiva is accused of
Ex-deputy Ilya Kiva was sentenced in absentia to 14 years in prison with confiscation of property in the case of treason and encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The verdict was handed down by the Lychakivsky District Court of Lvov, which considered the case in absentia, since in January 2022 Kiva left Ukraine for the Russian Federation, and after the start of a full-scale war he moved to Moscow. Subsequently, already in April, he announced that he was preparing to seek political asylum in Russia.

The court found Kiva guilty under articles of the Criminal Code:
- h. 3 tbsp. 109 — public calls for a violent change and overthrow of the constitutional order and the seizure of state power by a person who is a representative of the government, using the media;
- h. 1 tbsp. 111 — high treason, that is, an act intentionally committed by a citizen of Ukraine to the detriment of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability, defense capability, state, economic or information security of Ukraine by providing assistance to a foreign state in carrying out subversive activities against Ukraine;
- h. 2 tbsp. 436-1 — public use of the symbols of the communist totalitarian regime, committed by a person who is a representative of the authorities;
- st. 436 — public calls for aggressive war.
What is known about Kiva's death
On December 6, information appeared about the liquidation of Kiva near Moscow. The body of the traitor was found in the village of Suponevo, Odintsovo district, near Moscow.
According to ICTV Facts sources, the liquidation of collaborator and propagandist Ilya Kiva is a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine.
It is noted that Kiva was eliminated from small arms fire.
