Liar or idiot: Putin disgraced himself again in his statements Anzhelika Galesevich

Russian leader Vladimir Putin has once again disgraced himself with his statements in an interview with Russian propagandists. He talked about the seizure of Ukraine in 1-2 months, the “illegitimacy” of President Volodymyr Zelensky and the constant “deception” of Russia.

Former SBU employee Ivan Stupak took apart Putin's nonsense on air on Channel 24. According to him, in this way the dictator is trying to justify the failures of the Russian army and show his “kindness”.

On the seizure of Ukraine in 2 months

Vladimir Putin said that he could seize Ukraine in 1-2 months if it stops receiving military aid from its partners.

This is the leader of a country that calls itself the “second army in the world”? This is the leader of a country that says it wants to take an equal part in governing the world? – Stupak said.

That is, Putin actually said that they should stop helping Ukraine because Russia cannot defeat it. At the same time, as soon as the support stops, the Russians will end the war.

“This is a really serious position, a bid for success. Read everything in quotation marks,” he added.

On Zelensky's “illegitimacy”

Putin has once again decided to talk about the “illegitimacy” of President Volodymyr Zelensky and questioned the possibility of concluding any peace agreement with him.

And this is very funny, because not a single leader of any country in the world has ever called Zelensky illegitimate. You can have different attitudes towards him, but you definitely shouldn't throw around such words. Since Ukraine cannot hold elections during the war.

Thus, according to the former SBU employee, Putin is trying to stall for time and sow doubts among Ukrainian society, destroying the remnants of optimism.

On Putin's constant “deception”

Putin also said that he “withdrew” troops from Kyiv in March 2022 at the request of Europe to conclude a peace treaty, but he was deceived. He repeated the thesis several times that “Russia is constantly being deceived.”

We can assume the following: if the dictator suspected deception, but was still glad to be deceived, then he is either an idiot or a liar. According to Stupak, Russians are used to extolling their president every time he admits that he was deceived.

And aren't you embarrassed that someone is constantly deceiving your “icon”? Don't you think that you are being led by a complete idiot? The question is rhetorical. Russians can't say anything on this topic. They only praise him, – Ivan Stupak emphasized.

Putin seemed to want to explain his failures by trust. Like, “we are so open, but they spat in our souls.” It is expected that even after the end of the war, Russians will complain that they were lied to. The goal is to show that they are “kind”, and everyone else cannot be trusted.
