Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 was bound for Ontario. The plane took off at 17:07, and already at 17:27 returned to Portland International Airport due to an emergency.

Officially, the flight crew stated that “there were problems with pressure,” but the passengers spoke specifically about the loss of part of the aircraft. In particular, one of the passengers – Kyle Rinker – stated that a few minutes after takeoff the window of the plane fell out.
It was really abrupt. As soon as it rose to altitude, the porthole and fuselage simply bounced off. We didn’t notice this until we took off the oxygen masks,” said the passenger.

The United States said it would investigate this incident. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. A new flight to Ontario was booked for all passengers by 23:00.
Passengers said that some people's phones were blown out due to depressurization, and one child had his shirt torn off.
