— Lithuania consistently supports Ukraine's fight for independence and not only provides military support, but also helps repair Leopard tanks, which are desperately needed on the battlefield. Today we can see what a repaired and revived powerful tank looks like, which will soon be returned to Ukraine, — said Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas.
The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense did not specify exactly how many tanks were repaired.
It is noted that the repair work was carried out by Little Defense Services (LDS) since October of this year.
It is added that it was this enterprise in Lithuania that had previously organized the repair and return to Ukraine of self-propelled howitzers PzH2000, which took part in hostilities.
Help package
In addition, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense added that, together with the Lithuanian Armed Forces, they handed over another batch of aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It is noted that Lithuania supplied Ukraine with several million rounds of ammunition and several thousand ammunition for short-range man-portable anti-tank grenade launchers. The cargo also included about a thousand folding beds.
— We hear the urgent needs of Ukraine and continue to provide support in accordance with the expressed needs. We actively encourage our allies to do the same, — said Minister Anusauskas.
The Ministry of Defense recalled that in addition to the regular transfer of military equipment, Lithuania also actively trains Ukrainian soldiers, provides medical treatment and rehabilitation, expert advice, and also makes contributions to international funds for Ukraine.
In addition, the defense department reported that today Lithuania already has a long-term plan to support Ukraine, and the next package of military assistance worth €200 million is envisaged for 2024-2026.
Recall that the previous package of military assistance from Lithuania was transferred to Ukraine in the second half of November of this year. In particular, it included cartridges and winter equipment.
