Legia ultras trolled UEFA with a banner at the LK match after the stands were closed

Legia Warsaw's ultras ignored the ban of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) at the Conference League match against the Norwegian Molde.

UEFA closed the fan stand during the second leg of the round of 16 after fan riots at away matches in the group stage. Only children under 14 years of age were allowed into the sectors at the home team's stadium.

However, Polish fans decided to hold a special promotion addressed to UEFA.

Before the start of the match, a banner was placed in the stadium in English, which read: This time you win, UEFA.

But it later turned out that this was a trick of the ultras, who simply moved to the central part of the stadium during the game. There, when the teams lined up at the Polish Army Stadium, the fans unfurled another, much larger banner with the inscription: Surprise, scum! And also set off fireworks.

Note that the game itself ended in a crushing victory for Molde with a score of 3:0. Based on the sum of the two matches (6:2), the Norwegian club advanced to the next stage of the tournament. In the 1/8 finals Molde will meet with the Belgian Brugge.

For this prank, ultras Legia may face another punishment from UEFA.
