Ferrari pilot Charles Leclerc won the Monaco Grand Prix in Formula 1. For the Monegasque, this is the first victory in the royal race in his native Monaco in his career.

Leclerc started from pole position for the third time in his career at the Monte Carlo stage, but only now managed to hold the lead and finish first. Previous times in 2021 and 2022 ended with him leaving the track and fourth place.
The Ferrari driver held his position at the start in the fight with Oscar Piastri from McLaren, and then also retained the lead after the restart due to a long delay due to a first lap accident involving Sergio Perez of Red Bull and the Haas duo of Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg.

Yuki Tsunoda from RB earned points for the third consecutive stage, finishing eighth in Monaco. The Japanese was ahead of Alex Albon, , who brought Williams the first points of the season, and Pierre Gasly from Alpine, who finished tenth.

Verstappen continues to lead in the individual standings, with 169 points now. Charles Leclerc is second with 139 points, while Lando Norris — third (113).
Red Bull is in the lead in the Constructors' Championship with 276 points, ahead of Ferrari (252) and McLaren (184).
At the previous stage of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Verstappen won. Norris finished second, and Leclerc was third.
