Lebanon has no money to fight the consequences of the explosion in the capital Beirut. This was stated by the Minister of economy Raul Neme in an interview to Sky News Arabiya.
He stressed that the Lebanese government sees the only way of solving the problems in cooperation with the International monetary Fund (IMF), which can help the country to cope with the consequences of the accident. NEMA added that Lebanon and was suffering from a serious economic crisis for the past 30 years: in addition to the explosion, in 2020 the situation worsened pandemic COVID-19.
