Head of the volunteer headquarters “Ukrainian Team” Artur Palatny proposes to the Verkhovna Rada to leave zero duty on the import of cars from abroad.
According to him, during the war, for many people, their own car is the only means of salvation.
“Duty on the import of cars during the war is not a matter of three or five thousand dollars per car. It is a matter of the lives of tens of thousands of fellow citizens , this is a matter of the survival of small businesses, a matter of providing for our heroes at the front. For hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, the car itself became the only “means of salvation” when they chose get out of hell. For thousands of volunteers and small businesses, owning a car is an opportunity to help and support our soldiers on the front lines. It is unacceptable to deprive people of the opportunity to save or help,” Palatny said.
He clarified that the zero duty should be maintained, at least for budget cars.
Of course, duties on expensive foreign premium cars can and should be set. But zero duty on the import of budget cars, cars for volunteers and the Armed Forces must be maintained. Leave people their right to save themselves and save! Leave zero duty on the import of cars from -for the borders, – called the head of the “Ukrainian team”.
