153 days Ukraine heroically resists the Russian invaders. Even at this time, when every citizen is working for the victory of our country, there are officials who decide to take advantage of their official position and stuff their pockets with illegally earned money.
Detention of a briber
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that the DBR, in cooperation with the prosecutor's office, detained one of the deputy directors of the transport department of the Kyiv city state administration. During the war, he decided to demand a bribe, for which he felt handcuffed.
We constantly transmit materials from internal audits of the KSCA and cooperate with law enforcement officers. As long as the law enforcement agencies are dealing with the bribe-taker and the investigation continues, he will be immediately suspended from duty,” Klitschko wrote.
The mayor of Kyiv also added that even in such a difficult time for Ukraine, there are “rats” who want to steal from the state.
“This is a betrayal and weakening of Ukraine. And especially during martial law, the punishment for such crimes should be the most severe,” Klitschko added.
