Podolyak about Lavrov at the G20 summit/Channel 24 collage
At the G20 summit, Sergey Lavrov did not expect a warm welcome. He was boycotted by his fellow ministers, and journalists doused him with a “cold shower” from head to toe. However, even this did not help him comprehend all the consequences of the war that Russia launched against Ukraine.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, believes that he was not ashamed at all, even though he retreated after the speech. He said this in an exclusive interview with Channel 24.
According to him, he is surprised when the words “shame” and “Russians” are heard in one sentence. They have no empathy at all. Moreover, 135 days is enough for everyone to understand that Russians are not people. They have completely different values, logic and morals.
It is moral for them to come and kill a person. And then say, they say, “this is good, but let's talk about exactly how we should kill,” Podolyak said.
Lavrov does not understand Russian cynicism
And he stressed that the Russians are a completely different civilization. They do not understand what kind of world we live in, so there can be no talk of any negotiations yet. This is what Lavrov's behavior at the summit shows.
“When we talk about the modern elite of Russia, we must understand that they are low-intellectual, ignorant and boorish people. They are primitive, they have no arguments. Therefore, Lavrov is unlikely to lower his eyes, he does not understand the cynicism of Russia's actions and what they are doing in Ukraine “, he is convinced.
And he added that it is nonsense that the Russian Foreign Minister believes that he has the right to launch rockets and kill people in Ukraine.
Lavrov was given a “cold shower” at the G20 summit
- Sergey Lavrov arrived at the G20 summit. There, the Russian Foreign Minister was boycotted. So, the foreign ministers of the G7 countries did not come to dinner with their colleagues. Moreover, it was not possible to take a joint photo either.
- And actually, during the appearance on the red carpet, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry received a “warm” reception from journalists as well. The journalist twice voiced the question, which the head of the Foreign Ministry, apparently, did not hear the first time. He asked why Russia started the war.
- Lavrov did not respond to the journalist's questions. At least he didn't show it. And after his speech, he simply disappeared and did not appear again.
