Latvia transferred more than 500 more unmanned aerial vehicles to Ukraine as part of the drone coalition.

Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds announced on social network X that a military support package, which included more than 500 drones, is already heading to Ukraine.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Latvia reported that during July they would transfer the next batch of drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the framework of the created coalition. We are talking about 2.5 thousand drones of different types worth €4 million.

In December 2023, Ukraine and Latvia created a drone coalition. It was joined by Great Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden.
In May 2024, Defense Minister Andris Spruds announced that Latvia plans to invest €20 million in a drone coalition in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The same amount will be used to reinforce the Latvian army with drones.
