After rockets were fired at the northern Israeli village of Majdal Shams, killing at least 12 people, mostly children and teenagers, Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Oren Marmorstein said Saturday's killing crossed all of Hezbollah's red lines.
Israel has warned Lebanon of a “devastating war” after a stadium in the Golan Heights was shelled. The condition for avoiding war is the disarmament and withdrawal of Hezbollah forces.
In his note on the social network X, he called Hezbollah an Iranian outpost in Lebanon and involved in the murder of children and teenagers who were playing football in the village of Majdal Shams.

Israeli Foreign Ministry on Hezbollah missile attack
12 children and teenagers aged between ten and 20 were killed in a rocket attack on Saturday, when a missile hit a football field.
— Hezbollah, the long arm of Iran, aimed its fire at civilians. Hezbollah makes no distinction between Jews and non-Jews, and its goal is to kill Israeli civilians, no matter who they are, Marmorstein said.
He added that despite Hezbollah's objections, the organization is clearly responsible for Saturday's massacre. According to Marmorstein, the rocket fired was Iranian, and Hezbollah is the only terrorist organization that has such rockets in its arsenal.
— Hezbollah crossed all red lines with its attack. It is not an army fighting another army, but a terrorist organization that deliberately shoots at civilians, — wrote the spokesman.
He said Israel would exercise its right and duty to act in self-defense and respond to the shelling.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that the world must hold Iran and its terrorist proxies, Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis, fully responsible.
He called on the world to declare Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization, impose crippling sanctions on Iran, declare Hezbollah a terrorist organization, and hold it fully responsible for the murder of children it has committed.
Marmorstein believes that the only way the world can prevent a full-scale war that would be devastating for Lebanon as well is to is to force Hezbollah to comply with Security Council Resolution 1701.
According to the resolution, Hezbollah is forced to retreat across the Litani River in accordance with the UN resolution. This is 30 kilometers from the border between Israel and Lebanon. Marmorstein added that “now is the last minute to do this diplomatically”.
