On October 19, a fire broke out in the mosque of the Islamic center in Jakarta, Indonesia. It began after the builders repaired the dome.
As a result of the fire, the dome of the Grand Mosque of the Islamic Center fell. The corresponding videos have already been shown on the network.
Large-scale fire in Jakarta
According to preliminary information, when the builders were repairing the dome, they wanted to install plywood on top and melted the roof membrane with a burner.
During the work, sparks appeared from the burner, and subsequently this caused a large fire.
One of the men tried to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher, but the fire expanded and as a result, the entire dome of the mosque of the Islamic center caught fire. Later, the structure collapsed.
Rescuers immediately arrived at the scene. Now they will tame the fire.

Indonesia decided move your capital
The Indonesian authorities have decided to change their capital, so Jakarta will no longer have the status of the main city. It will be transferred to the island of Kalimantan.
It is planned to be implemented in 2024. The House of Representatives of the country has already passed a law on the transfer of the government from Jakarta to the territory of the island.
