Russians commit informational provocations. They spread information about the “surrender” of Ukrainian cities.
This was reported in the police of the Kharkiv region. They noted that information should be obtained only from official sources.
“Every day we observe attempts to sow panic among the local population not only by constant shelling of the territory, but also by “stuffing” about the surrender of one or another inhabited point in order to manipulate public opinion and undermine the confidence of citizens in the authorities and the defense forces,” law enforcement officers wrote.
Kupyansk is protected
< p dir="ltr">The police said that social networks are actively disseminating information about Kupyansk, which allegedly surrendered to the Russians. Law enforcement officers assured that this is a fake, since the armed forces, territorial defense, police, and the National Guard reliably guard the Kharkiv region.
In Kupyansk, the district police department adequately serves, performs important tasks around the clock to protect public order, document the crimes of the occupiers, provide assistance to the population, patrol the streets of the city, be on duty at checkpoints, ensure the safety of the population during the evacuation, the police said.

It was emphasized that no one plans to yield to the enemy. The defense forces are ready to defend Kupyansk.
“The police urge citizens to calm down, not to succumb to provocations and avoid panic,” law enforcement officers stressed.
