The issue of providing Ukraine with long-range Taurus cruise missiles is moving forward during internal discussions in Germany. This option remains open.
This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba at a joint press conference with German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock.
Taurus missiles were one of the key topics of the negotiations. According to Kuleba, the decision-making process within Germany is “moving forward”.

I expressed my readiness to do everything that is needed from Ukraine to speed up this decision, we are ready to do this, — Kuleba noted.
He added that the decision is now up to Berlin. Kyiv, for its part, is ready to assist as much as possible and fulfill requests that the German side may voice.
Kuleba noted that, having Taurus, Ukraine could save more lives of military and civilians. The minister emphasized that today there are no “objective arguments” do not provide these missiles.

Another topic of negotiations was the supply of air defense systems. Kuleba noted that “we are approaching a new winter and expect a Russian attack on our energy infrastructure and peaceful cities”.

During the meeting, Kuleba and Berbock discussed increasing the coalition in support of the Ukrainian peace formula, the participation of German companies in the first Forum of Defense Industries, which will soon be held in Ukraine.
