— Our goals will remain militarily achievable as long as three factors exist:adequate military assistance, including aircraft, drones, air defenses, artillery shells and long-range weapons that will allow us to strike deep behind enemy lines; rapid development of industrial capacity in the United States and Europe, as well as in Ukraine, both to meet Ukraine's military needs and to replenish American and European defense stocks; as well as a principled and realistic approach to the prospect of negotiations with Russia, — the diplomat emphasized.

According to him, the occupying army may outnumber the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but the right strategy, planning and adequate support will allow the Ukrainians to deliver effective retaliatory strikes.
He noted that supporting partners has never been a charity, since every dollar invested in Ukraine's defense brings clear security dividends.
— And Ukraine did all this thanks to American assistance, which amounts to about 3% of the annual US defense budget.
