KSCA adopted a ban on work during an air raid alert: what does it concern

by alex

Construction work will be stopped during the air raid in Kyiv. What is the reason and what exactly does this concern.

In the event of an air hazard, work will be stopped precisely at the construction sites of the capital. This decision will be effective from September 1, according to the Kyiv City State Administration.

Work on construction sites will be suspended during an alarm: what are the reasons

The first reason is the threat to the lives of workers. Local authorities want to give everyone the opportunity to take care of themselves and go to shelter during the air raid.

There is another side to the coin. Residents of Kyiv massively complain about loud sounds from construction sites. After all, during alarms, they scare people and create additional tension.

Therefore, the sale and launch of fireworks and movement around the city in cars without a silencer are also prohibited in Kyiv.

Stopping ground public transport

From August 1, public transport in Kyiv stops traffic during an air raid. Drivers park in a safe place and in accordance with the rules of the road. People, according to the rules, go to the nearest shelter.

The subway also does not work during the alarm, as it was before. It does not carry out transportation and stops the operation of open-type stations.
