— Our position on Ukraine is well known. The conditions for an immediate cessation of hostilities were outlined by President Putin in June of this year in his speech at the Russian Foreign Ministry, he said.
In addition, Peskov said that it was allegedly Ukraine that continued to refuse to negotiate. Putin's secretary said that in order to begin negotiations, Zelensky must give an order to resume dialogue based on the Istanbul agreements and taking into account the realities developing on the ground.
In June, Putin said that Moscow's condition for negotiations was the recognition of all occupied territories as subjects of the Russian Federation. This concerns Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. The dictator also wished for Ukraine to refuse to join NATO and repeated the manual on denazification and demilitarization.
The tyrant also demanded that the rights of Russian-speaking people in Ukraine be fully ensured and that sanctions against the Russian Federation be lifted. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry responded to the dictator's insane desires by stating that Moscow's plans are not for peace, but for the continuation of the war, the occupation of Ukraine, the destruction of the Ukrainian people and further aggression in Europe.
