Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck an ammunition factory in the Moscow region of the Russian Federation.

This information was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Krasnozavodsk Chemical Plant: Aftermath of the Impact

As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of July 7, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other parts of the Defense Forces carried out a fire strike on the Krasnozavodsk Chemical Plant Joint-Stock Company, located in the Moscow Region of Russia.

According to the General Staff, this attack took place as part of reducing the enemy’s capabilities to produce explosives and ammunition.

“The enterprise produces pyrotechnics and ammunition, in particular thermobaric warheads for Shahed-type UAVs,” the statement said.

A series of explosions were recorded in the area of the city of Krasnozavodsk and the movement of fire trucks in neighboring settlements, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified.

All the results of the fire damage are currently being clarified, they added.

The General Staff emphasized that the Defense Forces continue to take measures to undermine the offensive potential of the Russian occupiers and force the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine.
