Her opponent also had no serve misses, two double faults and four out of six breakpoints realized.

— This is truly one of the coolest tournaments in the world, I am very grateful to everyone for preparing this tournament. I really hope to come back here every year… I wanted to say how incredibly proud I am that you could see so many Ukrainian flags here this week. And thank you very much for coming. Thank you. Glory to Ukraine! — Kostyuk said after the final.

On the way to the final in Stuttgart, Marta won a number of bright victories, winning three matches in a row against representatives of the top ten in the world ranking.

In the 1/8 finals, the Ukrainian won a strong-willed victory over the seventh racket of the world Qin Wen Zheng from China, and in the quarterfinals she defeated the third WTA number, American Coco Gauff.

In the match for reaching the final, she beat the eighth racket Marketa Supernitz, who is the current Wimbledon champion.

Note that in 2024 Kostyuk lost her second consecutive final at the WTA level. In March, she lost to Briton Katie Boulter in the decisive match of the WTA 500 hard tournament in San Diego.
