Kostenko announced personnel problems in the new military units of Russia

by alex

In Russia, there are serious problems with the resupplying of new military units. Most acutely, Russia is experiencing a shortage of officers.

Vladimir Putin signed a decree on August 25 to increase the size of the Russian army by more than 130,000 people. Commenting on this decision on Channel 24, Roman Kostenko, military officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and people's deputy, said that a certain Putin wants to retain his far-fetched “authority”.

a special operation does not imply mobilization

According to the parliamentarian, Putin wants to show that he can successfully end the war with the help of the regular armed forces that he already has at his disposal.

But we have already seen that there are not enough of them, that the paths suffer great losses. To conduct mobilization now means to show the whole society that his army, which he called “the second army of the world”, is not at all like that, Roman Kostenko said.

Russian propaganda on TV constantly convinced that Ukraine had a “rather weak army.” Now comes the paradox that Russia could not cope with us.

Now Putin needs mobilization. In order to “not lose face”, he found a way out due to the increase in the size of the Russian armed forces. p>

Personnel problems in Russia

The impossibility of open mobilization of troops is not Russia's only problem. Also, some personnel problems significantly complicate life.

We now have information that they are forming the third army corps. They have very big problems with personnel, especially with officers, – said Roman Kostenko.

He explained this situation by the fact that most Russian officers were already in the army by the time of the full-scale invasion, so now it is impossible to simply call them up .

“Therefore, they will now try to motivate these people so that they go to those units that will now be grouped. Those people will be sent to replenish in active units or those that are being formed now,” the military summed up.
