Klitschko in Davos awarded Boris Johnson with the title of Honorary Citizen of the city of Kyiv

< p _ngcontent-sc100="" class="news-annotation">Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko met with former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Davos and presented him with the “Honorary Citizen of Kyiv” award.

Vitali Klitschko announced this in his telegram channel, emphasizing that the Kyiv City Council made the corresponding decision back in November 2022.

“I talked in Davos with the great friend of Ukraine Boris Johnson. I had the opportunity to present him with an award from the Ukrainian capital – the title of Honorary Citizen of the city of Kyiv. The city council approved the decision to award it at the end of November last year. The award was presented to Boris at the Ukrainian House in Davos,” Klitschko said.

The mayor of Kyiv noted that Boris Johnson continues to help Ukraine .

Boris has repeatedly visited the Ukrainian capital – both in peaceful and in the most dramatic time of our struggle against the Russian aggressor “As Prime Minister of Great Britain, Johnson did everything possible to help Ukraine. And he continues to support us and convince the civilized world of the necessary support,” Vitaliy Klitschko emphasized.

In turn, the British politician assured of further support for Ukraine until complete victory.

“Putin made a catastrophic mistake. And all that we, friends of Ukraine, must to do now is to continue to support Ukraine with tanks, aircraft, financial resources, everything necessary. Until Ukraine wins. Ukraine is a free, sovereign, independent European country!” hosting the World Economic Forum with the participation of world leaders. The event will last until January 20.
