Piontkovsky on Kissinger's latest statements on Putin/Channel 24 Collage
Russian dictator Putin, with his insane statements about imitating Peter I and returning his territories, changed the world discourse and attitude towards himself even among his ardent supporters.
In particular, these manic emissions influenced the position of the United States. Andrey Piontkovsky, a Russian publicist, told Channel 24 about this. In his opinion, Putin's words gave a very serious argument to the supporters of Ukraine.
Putin's statements about Peter I changed the US rhetoric
Piontkovsky noted that US President Joseph Biden is openly anti-Putin, but he is constantly stopped. In particular, this is done by US diplomat and ambassador to Russia John Sullivan.
As soon as Biden calls him (Putin – Channel 24) a murderer or says: “Damn it, how long can this monster stay in power?” Sullivan immediately jumps out from behind his shoulder and says: “No, you misunderstood grandfather “, – said Piontkovsky.
However, in his last speech, the American president talked about his upcoming visit to the Middle East and that on July 16 he plans to be in Israel. Biden noted that he would try to influence the Israeli government to strongly support Ukraine. His main argument is the incessant flow of evidence of war crimes committed by the Russian side in the war against Ukraine.
According to Piontkovsky, Biden’s moral mood was “warmed up” not only by information about numerous crimes, but also by Putin’s statement about Petre I.
Putin's fan Kissinger recognized him as a gopnik
However, I was more surprised by Henry Kissinger, who has always had pro-Russian views. According to the publicist, Kissinger is cited in the United States as the main enemy of Ukraine, and his Davos speech was a continuation of 20 years of pro-Putin activities.
For years, Kissinger has been developing the idea that the main rival of the States is China. Lately, he's been talking about how the US needs to “make friends” with Russia against China. “To do this, it will be necessary to make some small concessions. If he wants to rape Ukraine, let him rape, what does it matter on a global scale?” Piontkovsky said about Kissinger's position.
But a few days ago in a long interview, the American dramatically changed his rhetoric and renounced his love for Putin. Previously, Kissinger tried to justify his speech in Davos and said that when he spoke about territorial concessions, he was misunderstood.
He allegedly referred to Zelensky's words that there could be no talks with Russia until its troops were withdrawn to positions as of February 23. Only after that it will be possible to negotiate on the territories temporarily occupied earlier.
But the main thing is that he renounced his main concept. He said that Putin lost strategically, no matter how events develop further, he showed that he does not have a serious army, and therefore he is of no interest to anyone as an ally. – says Piontkovsky.
Kissinger said that Putin is “a gopnik who wants to slander everywhere.” Like, he is not at all interested in China, so the States need to forget about him and improve relations with China. This is a serious, constructive adversary who wants to get ahead of the United States in technology, civilizational development, and therefore a serious challenge that needs to be accepted.
According to the publicist, such statements by Kissinger sounded very new. “Therefore, not everything is so bad in the USA. I think that we will be satisfied with the results of Ramstein-3, which will take place on Wednesday, and if not, we need to move to plan B,” Piontkovsky summed up.
