US President Joe Biden may veto the United States budget bill if it does not include funds to help Ukraine.
This was stated by White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby during a briefing.
When asked whether the head of the White House is ready to veto a law that Republicans in the House of Representatives will lobby for if it does not provide for assistance to Ukraine, Kirby did not answer directly.

“I think we've made it very clear how deeply troubling the House Republican bill is and how inadequate it is to meet our national security needs,” Kirby said.
He added that Biden, as “commander in chief and president, will never do anything that does not meet our core national security needs.”
Let us recall that today in the US Congress, the head of the US State Department, Antony Blinken, and the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, tried to assure legislators of the US Congress that assistance to Ukraine should not stop.
They promoted among congressmen the need to agree on US President Joe Biden's previously announced request for more than $105 billion in aid, which includes $61.4 billion in aid to Ukraine and $14.3 billion in aid to Israel.
At the same time, Republicans in the House of Representatives believe that this assistance should be considered separately from support for Israel, and, in particular, the financial component of assistance to Ukraine can be reviewed by American lawmakers.
