The DPRK will continue to expand cooperation with Russia.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met with Kremlin spokesman Sergei Shoigu. They discussed tightening strategic relations between the countries.
Reuters writes about this.
It is noted that both held a “broad exchange of views on regional and international situations.” In particular, they managed to agree on greater “cooperation to protect mutual security interests.”
Kim Jong-un said that North Korea will continue to expand cooperation with Russia in line with the strategic partnership between the two countries.
“The United States and Ukraine, among other countries, as well as independent analysts, claim that Kim Jong-un is helping Russia in its invasion of Ukraine by supplying missiles and rockets in exchange for economic and other military assistance from Moscow,” the report said.
At the same time, Moscow and Pyongyang reject the accusations, but have pledged to strengthen military cooperation and signed a comprehensive strategic partnership at a summit in June.
Recall that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made a cynical statement about the Russian army's shelling of Ukrainian energy facilities.
