North Korea is actually participating in the war against Ukraine. Dictator Kim Jong-un will demand several “bonuses” from Putin in exchange for his troops.

Political scientist Taras Zagorodniy told Channel 24 about this, noting that the DPRK troops will not be sent to Ukraine “for free”. Kim Jong-un wants specific “gifts” from Putin.

What Kim wants

As Zagorodniy noted, since the beginning of the full-scale war, North Korea has received a huge number of artillery shells. Most likely, the following scheme is at work here: Russia provides raw materials, China has transferred equipment, and the Koreans are driving thousands of people to factories.

According to some reports, some North Korean military personnel are already in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. They may help build fortifications and tunnels. There should also be ballistic missile operators from the DPRK there. There is no exact information yet whether they will throw in personnel from North Korea as infantry.

Please note! According to Channel 24 sources, about 10 thousand soldiers from the DPRK are currently being trained in the Russian Far East. They can be transferred to the border territories to free up Russian troops.

It is clear that Kim Jong-un will not help Russia just like that. He will try to “milk” the Kremlin well.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the DPRK is already effectively participating in the war against Ukraine. It is not only about the transfer of weapons. Now they have taken on people. The population from the DPRK goes to work in Russian factories and to replenish the personnel of Russia.
