Russian military atrocities in Kyiv region

Soldiers from Russia did not even try to cover up war crimes, leaving bodies in the middle of the streets. According to preliminary data, more than 1,200 civilians were killed as a result of the atrocities of the Russians.

Places of mass graves continue to be identified to this day. Recently, a grave was discovered in the Buchansky district, where the bodies of three tortured people were located.

Because of the atrocities of the Russians, the US and the EU adopted new, tougher sanctions against Russia. Also, Ukraine and Western countries are trying to bring war criminals to justice.

As of May 2, the SBU has identified almost 900 occupiers who committed crimes against the civilian population in the Kyiv region.

Also to the office of the Prosecutor General managed to identify the first suspect in the atrocities committed by the Russian army in Bucha. Suspicions were announced to the National Guard Sergei Kolotsey.

Recently, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported suspicions to Russian Colonel General Alexander Chaiko, who led the operation to seize Kyiv.

Two more Russian soldiers who tortured people in the Buchansky district, suspicion of atrocities was announced in absentia.
