In Kyiv, metro passengers will not overpay for a forced transfer to ground transport at Lybidska station.
The corresponding decision was made by the Kiev City Council on December 14. The route from Teremki to any other metro station will still cost 8 UAH.
According to the mayor of the capital Vitaliy Klitschko, Kiev residents will receive travel compensation for transferring to buses and trolleybuses due to the closed six stations of the blue metro line.

A passenger traveling by ground transport and metro will only pay for one trip. The travel refund system will go live on Monday, December 18th. The Kyiv Digital mobile application will publish details of how this system will operate tomorrow, December 15.
