This was announced by a representative of the city authorities Nikolai Povoroznik, answering journalists' questions.
According to Povoroznik, today there are relevant developments and plans to protect the capital. Regarding the notification of the population, an information system has already been developed that provides for the use of public services and the media.
It is noted that such plans are expected not only in case of war, but also for any other emergencies, such as man-made disasters or natural disasters.
Important! While an attack on Kyiv is considered unlikely, city officials are adequately prepared for possible threats and are ready to act as soon as possible to protect the city and its residents.
What is known about the likely new attack on Kyiv
Earlier, the head of the KMVA, Sergei Popko, said that there would be a threat to Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine as long as the war was going on. Against the backdrop of continuous exercises in Belarus in Ukraine, as Popko says, “certain measures are being taken in terms of preparing government bodies, accumulating material and technical means, equipping the territory in order to prevent and prejudice the actions of the aggressor.”
In addition, the head of the KMVA says that one should not link the training of the air forces in Belarus with massive missile strikes.
