The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin exist thanks to the “President of Russia” Vladimir Putin. Today, they are interested in keeping the head of the Kremlin in power.
At the same time, both Kadyrov and Prigogine are actively preparing for what will happen in Russia after Putin. Russian opposition journalist Igor Yakovenko told Channel 24 about this.
Putin's “Siamese twins”
The expert noted that Kadyrov and Prigozhin are able to “quickly go over to the side of the strong”, but so far they really need even a weak Putin.
Now they need Putin, because Kadyrov too , and Prigozhin are strange asymmetric “Siamese twins” that exist thanks to interaction with Putin . But they look “past” him, because they understand that things will end badly . They are preparing for what will happen after Putin. Namely – to the turmoil and collapse of Russia, – the journalist explained.
According to him, the Russian unrest is a special and specific phenomenon of Russian history, in which “Kalashnikov” and tanks will “give birth” to power.
“Whoever has his own devoted army will survive. Kadyrov has a considerable army, Prigozhin has a Wagner PPK, which is smaller, but more combat-ready. In general, the Prigozhinites fight much better than the Kadyrovites. they are preparing for the situation after Putin. As long as there is Putin, they will be loyal to him, but they understand that then they will have to survive on their own,” the observer added.

In his opinion, Prigozhin and Kadyrov will not act together because “Prigozhin has nothing to do in Chechnya, and Kadyrov has nothing to do in Russia”.< /p>

Yakovenko stressed that Kadyrov would have subjectivity only in Chechnya. That is why he has no prospects at the all-Russian level.

It is clear that he will not be able to survive anywhere without his guard, in which he can muster about 100 thousand people.
