Japan has imposed new sanctions against Russia: the head of the Kalashnikov concern and Rosbank are on the list

Japan imposed sanctions against 48 Russians and henchmen of the invaders, 73 organizations and a Russian bank. In particular, the list also included the head of the Kalashnikov concern, Alan Lushnikov.

Also on the sanctions list were employees of the presidential administration of Russia. In addition, Japan also imposes export restrictions on 21 organizations of the aggressor country.

Japan imposes new sanctions against Russia

As it became known, the Japanese authorities imposed sanctions against 39 individuals, 73 organizations and one Russian bank. The list also includes 9 people from the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine, who are considered directly involved in the so-called “annexation” by the occupying country.

Also on the sanctions list were Russian Deputy Defense Minister Viktor Goremykin, head of the Kalashnikov concern Alan Lushnikov, and members of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

In addition, employees of the presidential administration of Russia, in particular the head of the presidential department for ensuring the activities of the State Council, Alexander Kharichev and his deputy Boris Rapoport, fell under Japanese sanctions.

Sanctions were also imposed against PMCs Wagner, Rosbank, institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other organizations.

Note! The assets of all these organizations, if discovered, will be frozen.

Russia under sanctions: latest news

  • Belgium recently seized 58 billion euros belonging to companies and individuals on the sanctioned list.
  • Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against IOC members representing Russia. Four more Russians became “victims” of the war unleashed by their dictator Vladimir Putin.
  • In addition, on February 25, the European Union adopted the tenth package of sanctions against Russia. It will prevent the enemy from bypassing previous restrictions already in place.
  • The list of sanctions also includes those “who are responsible for the deportation and forced adoption of at least 6,000 Ukrainian children.”
  • In addition, among the restrictions there are export bans for 11 billion euros. We are talking about goods that Russia cannot replace with supplies from other states.
