According to Venislavsky, it is premature to say that procedural moments have already begun.
I want to remind you that the Minister of Defense is appointed by the Verkhovna Rada on the proposal of the President. This is the president's right,” Fedor Venislavsky emphasized.
“At the moment, our profile committee, which should first consider candidates for the position of minister and hear a report upon dismissal, has not received any submissions. Therefore, to say that the procedure for possible reshuffles in the Government, in the Ministry of Defense started – prematurely“, – the people's deputy explained.
He said that there are discussions that have not yet been formalized into the relevant procedures provided for by the Constitution of Ukraine.

“We are a democratic country, citizens should be aware of possible reshuffles in the government,” Venislavsky stressed.
The People's Deputy added that certain events in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are also the reason. According to him, the minister bears personal political responsibility for the activities of the Defense Ministry. That is why there is a certain logic in possible rotations.
What is known about possible changes
- Major General Kirill Budanov, who is now the head GUR, will head the Ministry of Defense. Who is considered in his place – is still unknown. Rumors that personnel changes are planned in the Ministry of Defense were officially confirmed by the head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia.
- President Volodymyr Zelensky must make the appropriate decision to dismiss Reznikov. The minister himself announced this during a press conference. He stressed that no official “is eternal in his chair.”
