Lukashenko again announced the arrival of “another person”

A few days ago, Lukashenko said that he does not plan to run in the 2025 presidential elections. Moreover, the self-proclaimed leader began to say that he was “not eternal”, but noted that he was “not going to abandon everyone tomorrow”.

Now Lukashenko decided to explain his words again, that Belarusians should get used to the idea of another president. The self-proclaimed leader said that he will remain in office, but this will “not always be the case”.

You have to understand that another person will come – this is inevitable. And I meant this – that another person will come and you must be ready for this. I am preparing people for this, I do not want there to be any disappointment or failure, – Lukashenko said.

Earlier, Lukashenko said that he had transferred a third of the Belarusian army to the border with Ukraine. He said that such a number is necessary in case of “war or defense”. According to him, this happened because there are allegedly more than 120 thousand Ukrainian soldiers there.

At the same time, the State Border Guard Service noted that Lukashenko continues to escalate the information situation with aggressive statements that do not correspond to reality. Therefore, the situation on the border remains unchanged.
