Head coach of the Ukrainian national team Sergei Rebrov commented on the results of the playoff qualifying draw for Euro 2024, according to the results of which the blue-yellows will meet with the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In a comment to the UAF press service, the specialist said that it was too early to say anything, because there would be months of preparation ahead for this semi-final playoff match.

— I have already said that it makes no difference who we get in the draw. We got the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will prepare for this opponent. It’s too early to talk about anything, because there are still three to four months of preparation ahead. It is very important in what condition all our players will approach the playoff matches. There is information about who we will play with, and I am sure that we will be ready for the March meetings,” Rebrov said.
According to the head coach, over the next months the coaching staff will monitor our players and the opposing players. Rebrov said that he is familiar with the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and added that “good players have been selected there.”
In case of victory in the semi-finals, Ukraine will play with the winner of the Israel-Iceland pair. Rebrov noted that he has no wishes about which of these teams to play with, because first it is important to defeat Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He also added that Ukraine will potentially play the final match at home and the support of fans is important. It is important for the national team players to first of all prepare for the meeting with the Bosnians and think specifically about the first and next game.
