The Russians name specific bridges that they want to destroy in response. Political scientist Igor Reiterovich told 24 Channel that in this situation the West is trying to show that it does not take any threats seriously.

According to Reiterovich, they will arrive more often, because France and the UK are not afraid to react accordingly way. Germany's situation is somewhat different, because unlike these two states, it does not have its own nuclear weapons, and this is an important deterrent factor.

In addition, Western politicians understand that attacks on German bridges are nothing more than a bluff on the part of Russia. Russia threatens Germany with strikes: what happened
