The Nikolaev Regional State Administration cannot be restored, – Senkevich about the destruction within the city/Channel 24
During the 59 days of a full-scale war in Ukraine, Mykolaiv suffered losses of more than 700 million hryvnias. It is this amount that is needed to restore the damaged objects.
The mayor of Nikolaev Alexander Senkevich told this live on the MART TV channel, Channel 24 reports.

Speaking about urban infrastructure, we are talking about losses of 230 million hryvnia, – said the mayor.
In particular, the restoration of 47 educational institutions will require more than 20 million hryvnia, to restore healthcare facilities – another 9 million.
This does not include the amount necessary to restore the destroyed facilities.
For example, the Regional State Administration building cannot be restored – it will have to be destroyed and completely rebuilt, – Senkevich said.< /p>
Separately, he calculated the figures for housing infrastructure e. During the war, the city council received 672 applications for help to rebuild houses. This is another 180 million hryvnias.
Despite this, Senkevich does not lose optimism and notes that Ukraine will win the war and will definitely restore every object that was damaged as a result of shelling, and the Russians will pay reparations and will work for our construction sites.
