The whole world was amazed by the bravery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, courage is not the only thing that the Armed Forces showed, they also made it clear that the Ukrainian army is very powerful and effective.
The US General appreciated the tactics Armed Forces of Ukraine in the war with Russia
Retired American brigadier general Mark Arnold is of the same opinion. In an exclusive interview with Channel 24, he stressed that Ukrainians are incredibly brave people, he also mentioned the army.
According to Arnold, he was most surprised by the rotten entire Russian army, from the leadership to ordinary soldiers on the front line. And this, in his opinion, was the main factor that led to their defeat.
He says that they all believed that the gigantic Russian army, as well as their air force, would very quickly overcome the Ukrainian armed forces in the North.< /p>
At the same time, they were very impressed with the tactics of the Ukrainian army, which distinguished themselves by ingenuity.
And we were very surprised by the Ukrainians – first of all, with their ingenuity, quick decision-making, mobility, and the fact that the Ukrainian command delegated decision-making powers “downward” to ordinary officers and foremen who fought with Russian units, and, of course, the ideal the leadership of the command, which also surprised us a lot,” he stressed.
Also in the interview, they also mentioned the comparison of the tactics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the tactics of Mohammed Ali in the boxing ring: “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee”. Only now Arnold cannot say that the tactics of “fly like a butterfly, sorry like a bee” can turn the tide of this war, but he believes that the work done by the Ukrainian partisans is extremely effective. These are signs of a clever tactical war.
A retired American brigadier general stressed that Ukraine is now taking the main steps to help it win. We are talking about long-range artillery and precision systems.
