In Konotop banned the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. The Konotop City Council stated that there is no difference between the enemy and his agent.
This position was voiced by the mayor of Konotop in the Sumy region Artem Semenikhin.
The mayor published his order dated May 3 on prohibition of the activities of the UOC-MP on the territory of the city council of Konotop.
There is no difference between an enemy and his agent. And in the case of the Moscow Patriarchate, this is 2 in one. Therefore, I have decided to ban the activity of this FSB spy network on the territory of my city,” Semenikhin wrote.
The order says: “To ban the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate on the territory of the Konotop City Council as a threat to the national security of Ukraine” .

Earlier, hundreds of priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate signed an appeal to the Council of Primates of the Ancient Eastern Churches with a lawsuit against Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church, who openly supports Russia's war of conquest against Ukraine.
