This opinion was expressed by the head of the press center of OK Yug, Natalya Gumenyuk, on Channel 24. She suggested that the enemy might have been aiming exactly where the grain is stored.
According to Gumenyuk, this assumption can be made by analyzing the trajectory of missiles launched by the Russians.
With high-precision missiles they beat where they want to go. It is likely that the enemy wanted to give us a certain signal, – stressed the press secretary of OK “South”.

, on the afternoon of July 23, the Russians launched 4 Kalibr-type missiles from the Black Sea at the Odessa port. 2 missiles were shot down by the air defense forces, 2 more hit the port infrastructure.
“A fire broke out, which was quickly localized and liquidated. There is no information about the victims yet,” said the head of the press center of OK Yug.

- Russians launched a targeted attack on the port after 22 July in Istanbul signed the Initiative to create a humanitarian corridor for the safe transportation of grain and food from Ukrainian ports.

- At a meeting with a delegation of the US House of Representatives, Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the missile attack on the port of Odessa. The President of Ukraine stressed that Russia would find ways not to fulfill the grain agreement, despite the agreements.
- The representative of the Odesa OVA Serhiy Bratchuk said that Russia had declared war on the whole world by shelling the port of Odessa. Indeed, according to him, Russia has once again shown that it is indifferent to any agreements and rules that exist between states.
