What is known about M777 howitzers
The howitzer was developed by the British company BAE Systems. It is the largest defense contractor in Europe. The M777 trailed howitzer is an improved version of the already familiar M982 world. However, it is lighter, more practical and faster-firing. The weapon weighs 4 tons, and this allows it to be transported to the battlefield even by helicopters.
In addition, it is one of the most long-range howitzers in the world. A comfortable firing range is from 24 to 37 kilometers, and the working rate of fire is 2 rounds per minute. The cost of such a gun is from three million dollars. However, the final price depends on the modification.
