This opinion was voiced to Channel by Artur Kharitonov, president of the public organization “Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine”. According to him, the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to China was important for Beijing to show that China is not a key factor in the war.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is on a visit to China, where he met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi. Artur Kharitonov noted that the fact of communication between our country and Beijing is good.

However, this visit is very important for China. After all, Beijing wants to refute statements that they are a key factor in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Chinese propaganda is using the visit of the Ukrainian delegation, the president of the public organization believes. China will also be involved in the diplomatic track.

Russia is making a decision, it wants to continue the war and commit its crimes. But in reality, the decision to stop Russian military actions is made by Xi Jinping, who controls Russia at many levels. This decision is precisely up to the Chinese, Kharitonov said.
