In early June, graduates of school 134 in Kharkov danced a waltz on the ruins of their native school. The “Russian world” has come to the educational institution, as well as to other parts of Ukraine.
The guys admitted that it was incredibly difficult. Anna Chernenko, a correspondent from Kharkiv, told Channel 24 about this.
Symbolic dance on the ruins
Russians not only destroy everything in their path, but also trying to take away the future from our children. However, the occupiers will not succeed.
“We were with the military, who fired the school. They were like strength and support, we knew that nothing would happen to us,” said Valeria Kobzeva, a graduate of Kharkov school No. 134 .
It was hard to realize that the building was gone, our memory burned out, absolutely everything. Destroyed the place where people can get an education. But after a while, the pain subsided, only good memories and hopes that the school would be restored, added Anastasia Gontar, a graduate.
The invaders want to take away the right to education from children
According to Anna, about 100 educational institutions were damaged during the full-scale invasion in Kharkiv alone. Now most schools are waiting for restoration. In particular, one of Karazin's corps suffered from enemy shelling. The infidels desperately tried to destroy the Physics and Technology Institute “Neutron Source”. “Pyatikhatki is a place that got very badly,” the correspondent emphasized.
Now most schools are waiting for the rubble to be cleared, the sappers to be examined and restoration work to be done in the future. By the way, the Ukrainians once again prove that they are ready for difficulties and unpredictable challenges. So, the management of school No. 62 is ready to teach children in the remaining premises. Of course, provided that it becomes safe.
Recall that this year graduations in Ukraine were held online. Earlier, President Zelensky noted that Russia had damaged more than 1,800 educational institutions throughout Ukraine. Instead of the long-awaited last call, the students heard the sounds of sirens announcing the threat of an airstrike.
