“It has been planned for a long time”: why attacks on the cities of Ukraine are not revenge for the Crimean bridge

For the second day in a row, the invaders have launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Obviously, the invaders had been planning it for a long time. And this brutal attack would have happened even if there were no explosions on the Crimean bridge.

About this Channel 24said the Russian opposition journalist Igor Yakovenko. According to him, these massive missile attacks on Ukraine are not revenge for the Crimean bridge. The occupiers planned this attack even earlier.

Putin is losing the war

According to Yakovenko, such brutal massive missile strikes are a consequence of the fact that that Putin is losing the war . The reason for this attack was the success of the Ukrainian army during a powerful counteroffensive in several directions.

Putin is losing the war. If we talk about the occasion, then these are the successes of the Ukrainian army. First Kharkiv region, then Kherson, and then Donetsk. And these are already “sacred” names for the invaders, – said Yakovenko.

Putin understands that after a military defeat, his existence as president will expire. Therefore, the dictator is trying by all means to turn the tide, but nothing comes of it.

Yakovenko notes that Ukraine did not give any reason for Russia to start a war against it. But Putin wanted to make his crazy dreams come true.

Recall that on October 11, the Russian invaders launched a second massive missile attack on Ukraine. This time, the invaders fired 28 cruise missiles and more than 15 drones. Fortunately, the Ukrainian military managed to shoot down 33 air targets – 20 missiles and 13 UAVs.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov suggested whether Russia would continue massive missile strikes tomorrow, October 12. We need to prepare for everything, but it is obvious that the occupiers, if they try, will launch fewer missiles.
