Ivan Fedorov announced at about 14:45 that something had been detonating and thick smoke had been blowing at the military base located in the village of Mirny for two hours.
In addition, the mayor of Melitopol said that the Russian invaders deliberately do not let people into the territory controlled by Ukraine. It follows from his words that the invaders are hiding behind the civilian population.
Fedorov recalled that the last time the Russians blocked the checkpoint in Vasilyevka when they were redeploying. In order for the Armed Forces of Ukraine not to interfere with their plans, the invaders kept about 1000 people at the checkpoint.
