It is reported that the video was filmed at a distance of about 20-25 km from the airfield. The video clearly shows a large flash, which does not look like an “engine fire”.

According to activists, flashes and explosions in the area of ​​the Zyabrivka airfield began on August 11 at about 00:20. This fact completely refutes the information of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

On the night of August 11, information appeared about explosions at the Zyabrovka airfield near Gomel. On July 8, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Zabrovka airfield was under the complete control of the Russian military. The occupiers set up their military base there.

According to activists, Russia keeps about 10 S-400 Triumph air defense systems, two Pantsir air defense systems, and Iskanders at the airfield. In addition, tanks and infantry fighting vehicles were dug in.

It was reported that at least 4 flashes were recorded at an airfield located several tens of kilometers from the border with Ukraine within 10 minutes.

After To this end, the Belarusians tried to explain the reason for the outbreaks near Gomel in the Ministry of Defense, declaring “engine fire”. Activists emphasize that the Belarusian military has not yet been able to establish a connection between the explosions and the exercises.
