Details about the situation in the city: the main thing

The level of the Ural River near Russian Orenburg has already exceeded the dangerous mark of almost 2 meters. The water continues to rise, and therefore the city expects a peak flood on April 12.

As local authorities note, over the past 24 hours the water level in the Urals increased by 69 centimeters, and by morning 12 April – increased to 1129 centimeters.

The occupiers call this water level dangerous, because it will flood thousands of houses if it continues to rise. The peak of the flood will last for two days – April 12 – 13 – and after that the water level is expected to drop.

If earlier private houses were flooded in Orenburg, now the water has begun to flood high-rise buildings in the old part of the city. The first floors of the houses were already under water.

We would like to remind you that on April 5, a dam on the Ural River broke in Orsk. The water gradually spread to other towns and villages in the Orenburg region. Residents of Orsk went to rallies where they demanded an increase in their compensation.
